Important information

If you are like us, you receive a number of conference emails and brochures that look attractive. How do you decide which conferences you will attend? The main points most of us consider include: lecture topics, location, and price. The topics and faculty are important, and we also enjoy the opportunity to step out of our comfort zone and learn from clinicians who understand the challenges we are facing today. Location is definitely a second consideration, as we enjoy visiting locations that offer a variety of activities and allow time to enjoy family and friends. Lastly, the cost must be reasonable for what is being offered. We are proud to say that our conference meets all three of the aforementioned criteria.

REGISTRATION DETAILS

Register early to get your first choice! Some classes are limited. Once a lecture has reached maximum capacity, it will be closed. The conference committee reserves the right to cancel or amend lectures as necessary. Deadline for registration by mail and on-line registration is October 20th, 2019. You may also register the day of the conference. If you have any questions, call (603) 444-9205 or email the Conference Committee at emsconference@lrhcares.org or celliott@lrhcares.org

Online Registration: We have a new online registration software. It has a bit of a learning curve to it. You must select Saturday and Sunday, Saturday only, or Sunday only to select classes for that particular day.  Friday classes are selected individually because classes run all day. It is like buying tickets for a event but the "tickets" are your class selections. Because we have  online payment ability there are services  and processing charges for online registration. You may opt to pay via personal check and not have charges accrued BUT your registration will not be finalized without the complete payment due

Online registration will not be accepted if you neglect to choose sessions or payment is not included.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

FRIDAY 5:00PM - 6:00PM                                                    EMS Region 5 Town Hall Meeting with Free Appetizers

The State of NH Bureau of EMS Council, Region 5 wishes to invite all EMS providers from our area to participate in our Regional Annual Meeting.

During these challenging times in Healthcare and EMS, it is more important than ever that every EMT becomes active in addressing the professional and financial needs, as well as the standards of care that each provider delivers. There is a need for increasing the effect our profession has on this practice. The Council wishes to discuss what has been accomplished this year and to reach out to potential new members. During this meeting you can expect a discussion as to why membership is vital to the care EMS providers deliver in our region, and what the Regional Council can do for you. The North Country has always been proud of its ability to address challenges and to find creative ways of resolving issues that face our providers. Participation in this council will help us to continue to speak up for the issues that are specific to the providers in the North Country and the care they deliver to the people of our communities. It is time to come together, recognizing there is more that unites than what divides us and speak with a unified voice to bring our concerns and needs to the forefront of our legislators.

SOLO Wilderness Medicine and The Kane Schools Wild and Rescue Medicine have graciously agreed to provide light appetizers for all of those who attend during the meeting. So please come, bring your ideas and enjoy the company of like-minded professionals that wish to keep the North Country EMS community heard.”
